PREVIOUSLY ON APOCALYPSE OF KAIJU...

The mission to retake Brooklyn has finally commenced. Tyler has once again transformed into the infamous Godzilla, ready to aid in sealing the wall's hole.

However, things went horribly wrong when Godzilla suddenly turns on everyone, going completely berserk and battling the military, before passing out when he crash-lands onto the Brooklyn Bridge.

AND NOW...

*cue intro*

AFTER INTRO.

It is almost midday, and the unconscious body of Godzilla still lies entangled in the suspension cables of the destroyed Brooklyn Bridge. Having heard the news of what happened, Richard orders the military to surround the Kaiju body, so it won't escape if awakened. He gives a slight smirk of assured victory.

Meanwhile, back at the base, the gang are a little distraught of the mission's apparent failure. Suffering the most is Allison, apparently heartbroken at the thought of the "damned bastards" for plotting to kill Tyler. Some jerky soldiers comment it'll be a good thing, but Allison suddenly snaps, and in rage, grabs one soldier by his shirt, tossing him out the window, his fate unknown. Angry and saddened, Allison tells the others to leave her in peace for a while as she storms off to her room.

A few screams and tantrums after locking herself in her room, Allison curls on her bed as she cries from heartbreak, fearing the worst for Tyler. However, as she drowns in her own sobs, she hears what sounds like at first two voices in her head. Asking who it was while looking around, Allison then realizes it wasn't in her head. Searching everywhere, she almost gives up when she sees, to her surprise, what appears to be two, doll-sized women. Twin sisters, wearing tribal paint and clothing: one in red, the other in blue. However, to Allison's shock, these are no strangers. They introduce themselves as the Shobijin, twin fairies from a sacred area called Infant Island. The red-dressed fairy is named Lora, while her blue-dressed sister is named Moll.

Upon hearing all this, Allison smiles. It turns out that she is actually old friends with them since childhood, as they reveal they were her nurses ever since she was a baby. Allison does remember telling Tyler and Erik at one point in their lives, but they didn't believe her at first. Although happy to reunite with them, the Shobijin sense Allison's heartbreak as they figure out what's happening. They also sense how Allison really feels about Tyler, despite Allison trying to deny it until admitting it to the fairies.

As she laments Tyler's possible death, however, the twins give Allison something that she held dear as a child, and a gift from Tyler during that time: a red scarf she used to wear every day. Instantly recognizing it, her tears turn to joyful ones as she wraps it around her for the first time in years, remembering the good times she had with Tyler before now. Moll reveals that they found it back in Manhattan, where the first incursion struck on that day, and they safely transported to Allison. Her sister Lora also reveals that they brought it to her, because they want to reassure her into never giving up on Tyler, no matter the cost. Allison smiles, and the Shobijin then perform some kind of magic as an ancient, tribal shape enters into Allison's heart before they leave, telling her that "the time has come". Appearing to have known what they meant, Allison gives a determined expression, and jumps out the building to confront the military and save Tyler.

10 MINUTES LATER.

A barricade has already been constructed around Godzilla's out-cold body, as over a hundred soldiers aim their weapons at the ready. Officer Richard gives a speech, seemingly declaring that he was right about Tyler being Godzilla as an enemy to humanity after all. Given his paranoia, his tone makes it more like a boast rather than a point proven true as the gang watching it on TV seem to be disgusted by this. Stanley begins throwing a fit as Erik holds onto him in restraint, while Nathan stands at the spot, questioning if killing Tyler would either do them good, or cause more doom for the entire planet.

Richard raises his hand to give the signal to strike. However, literally out of nowhere, he receives a hard kick to his face as a seemingly enraged Allison sends him flying off his platform, and into the crowd below. The soldiers panic as they see Allison giving off a furious expression, amplified by a shadow-hood face, steamed breath, and even bright glowing eyes. Enraged, Allison screams in demand that the military would leave Tyler alone, and most importantly, alive.

Some of the soldiers, ironically revealed as the same bullies that harassed Stanley 8 years earlier, protest against her as they run up to take her down. Unfortunately for them, Allison easily handles them as she sends them flying into the ocean with a single, powerful punch that, for some reason, electrocuted them.

Most of the soldiers are terrified, yet Richard demands for Allison to step down. Obviously enough, she doesn't listen, fueled by a seemingly unstoppable protective rage. She screams out a threatening message, warning them that if they do anything harmful to Tyler, she would unleash her own destructive wrath on them. Most of them understood, due to fear, but some still resist.

Then, all of a sudden, after having sensed the terrible matter in some of their hearts, Allison lets out a prolonged, blood-curdling scream as masses of light envelop her and lift her into the air. Blinded by the brightness, the soldiers never noticed what is going on: the light seems to take on a living form itself. It appears Allison has gone through some kind of transformation as well. Although obscured by the bright light when the process is completed, this new form appears to have a lepidopteran appearance to it.

The light then fades away as the form is truly revealed. Allison is now also a "Kaiju-Shifter" herself, as it appears. Unlike Tyler, Allison appears to be fully aware of this the whole time, as no frightened reaction is seen on her face. Looking down at the now tiny soldiers, she lets out a few squeakened growls, warning them to not mess with her and Tyler at all, before announcing her Kaiju name:

"Mothra", aka "Mosura"

Almost all of the soldiers back off in fear. All, except Officer Richard. Paralyzed at first, he demands them to kill her straightaway, but before he could give the command, Allison/Mothra shoots out a powerful beam from her antennae that strikes down on him, instantly killing him by disintegration.

Letting out an enraged screech that scares the rest of the soldiers into doing what she asked, her new form then turns to Tyler's unconscious body. Then, in some kind of gentle, primal-like manner, she rests on top of the body as her own turns to energy, in an attempt to give him enough power to wake up, while Allison herself slowly levitates down to the floor as she looks up.

A moment of silence passes... then, a gentle snort, and the reptilian eye of Godzilla opening as it looks down at Allison. His pupil dilates as his head gently rises up to see her properly. His gentle movements are the key giveaway: Tyler has regained his normal control. Smiling in pure joy, Allison then hugs his snout. However, Tyler's eyes widen as he sees flashes of Mothra, leaving him in total shock as to what she was this whole time. Feeling unsure, due to his hatred for Kaiju, his Godzilla form sheds a single tear. Then, memories of the times he rescued her, their prolonged friendship, and now a flash of her saving him just now, Tyler begins realizing that Allison is just the same as she is, regardless of her true origin.

Surprised by this being a first; a Kaiju saving his life out of true care, Tyler's Godzilla then rears up to his full height once more, and lets out the recognizable roar, announcing he's back in business, before looking down at Allison, giving the expression saying "Thank you... for saving my life... and for everything". Allison smiles at the remark, and calls everyone, telling them all the good news

Seeing all this on TV, and hearing Allison's call, the gang and everyone else swiftly ready themselves as they head out, for the mission will now resume. And this time, the mission WILL succeed, as Godzilla roars into the sky as he heads in the direction of the wall.

To be continued.

NEXT TIME ON APOCALYPSE OF KAIJU...

It's now the second attempt at the mission, and with a reorganized Godzilla on their side, humanity would now be assured victory.

Can Godzilla fill the hole in the Brooklyn Life-Wall just in time? Or will more Kaiju soon overtake the city like they did in Manhattan 8 years ago? Find out next time.
