OK, my apologies for not uploading ANYTHING since last November, personal life and issues, but anyways, I think it's about time I finally talk about a little something that's been on my mind recently...
Lately, I've been looking back on things, and realized how incoherent my early writing was, back when I made my debut back in late 2015
What am I talking about...?
... My crown jewel namesake series...
... Elite Raptors
Now, I know what some of you are thinking: "Wait, what? How long has it been since you worked on the series? And aren't you still writing it as it is?"
Weeeeeell... Recently, since the end of last year, I looked back at the original, and as iconic as it is, I realized my writing was kind of all over the place. Not to mention my biggest issue was that setting it in the JP/JW universe was not the greatest of ideas, since I introduced a butt-ton of plot holes and retcons that to me doesn't flow well
And so... starting from today, at the time of this journal's post... It's time I made public the changes I have made in mind to the franchise as a whole
The series is now its own original timeline, set in a fictional prehistoric world on a super-continent much like Pangaea. The animals featured would include species from the Paleozoic, Mesozoic and Cenozoic. Think of it as like The Land Before Time or Primal, and you get the idea. The actual story would be less like Power Rangers with dinosaurs, and more like the 2006 anime Ginga Densetsu Weed
The characters would also be different. They'll no longer be personifications of myself and people I know IRL, but instead, they're their own original characters with their own names. Even characters that are original from the start will be getting changes to fit the new style I'll be going for
Characters include:
- Vezeto (formally myself), a young Dakotaraptor who spends most of the series as a kid, while the final few chapters feature him as an adult
- Kasai (formally Nick), an Achillobator, and he and his father Armando were gifted fire-element powers by a Pyroraptor tribe, and is the eldest of the current team
- Muharib (formally Harrison), a Deinonychus warrior who fights for honor and for his friends and family
- Usuma (formally Demi), a Linheraptor with healing powers, based on her motherly nature
- Zelen (formally Jordan), an Itemirus with a brainy nature, but can exhibit comical attitude when things get a little hairy
- Neela (a tribute to Blue), Vezeto's partner throughout the series, and eventual mate when they reach adulthood
- Asafum, a Tyrannosaurus that is the king of his domain, and will fiercely protect it from any dangerous intruder
- Aukat, an Afrovenator hunter that occasionally aids the Elite Raptors in battle
- Kaizer and Mehatu, Vezeto's parents, and the leaders of the previous Elite Raptors
- Makuba, the main antagonist, and the uncle to Vezeto, brother to Kaizer
- Brutor, a Utahraptor serving as Makuba's lieutenant, but was actually Makuba's teacher in their early life
- Venenifer, a Dilophosaurus with a venomous attitude utilizing trickery to get around his opponents
- Idronvo, a Saurophaganax that suffers bulimia, giving her the shrink-wrapped appearance that the other characters don't exhibit, which caused her to go insane, showing behavior similar to the Deviljho
The animals will also be differently designed. More scientifically accurate to their anatomy and integuments rather than using the JP designs, helps to make them stand out more, and not follow under the rather silly new rule of "oNLy jURassIC pARk cAN mAKe dINosAUrs!". Only blemishes will be colour and pattern variations, and some hairstyles for feathered and furred characters

We Need This!!!!So apparently, someone made a graphic novel based on the original 1994 Godzilla script. Now, they need help trying to get IDW comics to mass produce it. For those who don't understand, this script is what the 1998 Godzilla movie was supposed to be. It has a graphic novel made for it and it only needs to be mass produced.
PLEASE SPREAD THE NEWS TO MAKE THIS POSSIBLE!!!
